Motor

Our motors are all 48V water-cooled permanent magnet brushless motors. They offer the highest efficiency and are paired with field-orientated controlled controllers, this makes them a winning choice.

Further more, being direct drive makes them exceptionally reliable, efficient and quiet.

Battery

The batteries are made from 4.8kWh LiFePO4 modules and are designed to be in the engine bay. They have a very long life span, can be charged and discharged to their full capacity, and have a high charge/discharge efficiency.

Data is obtained and monitored continuously for best performance.

Solar panels

The solar panel array provides the energy to the whole system.

Solar panels are continuously soaking up the sun's rays to keep you moving. A inverter/solar charger keeps the battery topped-up and also provides the narrowboat with mains 230V power and 12V. No other batteries needed.

Throttle

Rugged, and simple to use, allows you to control the motor's power with instant response.

Heavy-duty waterproof on/off switch is made to last. The easy to read battery indicator let's you know the battery level without the app. No need to dip a stick into the diesel tank.

App

The App has a custom designed user interface which focuses on legibility but doesn't sacrifice on aesthetics either.

Connecting the Bluetooth app takes one minute the first time and a few seconds thereafter.

It allows you to monitor the motor power, battery charge level, cruising time remaining, and motor temperature. It also allows you to set the amount of battery you wish for cruising and how much for domestic use (Only available for android).
